Mesa Arts Center - Piper Repertory Theater Customers Reviews
Very good show.
We really enjoyed the show. The young people were, by far, the best parts of the show. The dances were exceptional and the music was very good with an appropriate volume. The scenery was nice and fit in well. We would go back and see it again.
Some small downsides, the Michigan Theater seats are a tad narrow and the leg room is tight. The folks who got seats in the center have a hard way to go to get to their seats. I think that the fake snow could have been swept during intermission, it could have proven dangerous for the dancers, but thankfully was not. The littlest kids should have had a chance to be recognized at the end, but were not.
Still a very good show.
A Chattanooga treasure, The Tivoli Theater
The Chattanooga Symphony, Heritage High School Choir, and The Chattanooga Ballet Company make for a perfect recipe for rendition of The Nutcracker! One of my favorites each year! Tivoli Theater is a wonderful historic treasure! One suggestion I will make is for theater to abide by stricter rules during acts as do most other theaters do. There were many distractions as people continued to go back and forth from seat to the exit then back again during each act, many of whom were the same offenders. In most others theaters, you cannot re-enter unless it's during intermission showing respect of other patrons and the performers themselves.
